Faqs
Who are your providers?
Our team includes board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered dietitians, and health coaches – each with extensive training in functional, integrative, and precision medicine.
How are providers trained in integrative medicine?
Many of our team members have completed additional certifications in functional medicine, hormone therapy, peptide therapy, and root-cause diagnostics through leading organizations and continuing education.
What’s the difference between an MD, NP, and PA?
All are licensed medical professionals. MDs are medical doctors. NPs (nurse practitioners) and PAs (physician assistants) are highly trained clinicians who diagnose, prescribe, and manage care in collaboration with supervising physicians.
How do I communicate with the care team?
You can reach us through our secure patient portal, phone, or email. For care-specific updates, lab results, or prescriptions, the portal is typically fastest and most secure.
Can I contact my provider between visits?
Yes. MIORA offers secure messaging and concierge support for care-related questions between appointments. We want you to feel informed and empowered throughout your journey.
What is the response time for messages?
We aim to respond within 24-48 business hours. Some messages may require review by your provider. For urgent matters, calling the clinic is best.
